Tom, Bass / Booking: Bassist Tom Marchant grew up in Everett and now calls Wakefield home.
Tom started playing bass at 16 and played in various groups through his high school and college years.  Tom's playing and musical taste was greatly influenced by 80's rock, modern country and country rock. He helped form the North Avenue band in 2008 and in addition to holding down the low end he handles the band's PA, calendar and bookings.

Steve, Drums: Drummer Steve Risti grew up in E. Boston and now living in Stoneham is very familiar with the Boston music scene. Growing up with brothers Rick, "The Kid" (lead guitar), and John "The Fly" (bass), playing music was always a way of life. He has been drumming for over 36 years, with a lot of studio recording experience. Rock and alternative music have always influenced his style.

Amy, Vocals: Amy began her singing career at the age of four when she wandered up on stage at an anniversary party and asked the band to play "Go Tell It On The Mountain". Fast forward several years and Amy continued to sing with bands at weddings and private functions. She put the microphone away for a time but has now dusted it off and is enjoying balancing her current role as part Diva, part Band Mom in the North Ave Band.

Peter, Guitar: Guitarist Peter Squizzero began playing guitar at age 8 after he saw Elvis Presley on TV, and joined his first band at age 13. He continued to play in various high school bands and performed at many college fraternity parties and mixers of the day in the Boston area. He put the guitar away while he attended college and upon resuming his playing enrolled in Berklee College of Music and rejuvenated his love of music and the guitar. His musical influences are very diverse, covering Rock, Jazz, Soul, Country, and R&B and is inspired by guitarists such as Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh, Freddie King and Larry Carlton to name a few. Peter divides his time working as an IT technician and being a family man, and looks forward to the weekends when he plays with the North Ave. Band, where he can “live the dream” and continue his love of music and the guitar.

Jim, Guitar / Vocals:  Jim, is a life long musician & resident of the North Shore.  His first gigs began at the age of 7, playing acoustic guitar with a local trio.  He was invited to join his first regular gigging band at the age of 14, playing events throughout the New England.  He holds a bachelors degree in music and has gigged with various wedding, world music and cover bands since the 80's.
